The technology behind Platinum Glass is the same technology used in our Platinum Wheels and Platinum Paint coatings, applied here to glass. Strong chemical bonds turn Platinum Glass into the new functional layer of the surface.
Wiper blade use drops significantly once it is applied, because Platinum Glass has superhydrophobic sheeting properties that begin at speeds as low as 30MPH. Visibility improves, and the drive is safer for it.
Front and rear screens get a minimum of 6 months of durability; on side windows that stretches to 12-24 months. Two coats are recommended, the first laying down the base and the second making certain of 100% coverage and residue removal.
