Carbon Collective Magma De-Icer Spray

Magma is a strong, fast-acting de-icer that melts ice in seconds and keeps working down to minus 25 degrees C. It is safe on windows, glass, locks and handles.

Many de-icers are loaded with harsh solvents that strip waxes, sealants and glass coatings after a single frosty morning. Magma is formulated to be gentle on protected surfaces and is safe to use on Platinum Glass Ceramic Coating, so you get a clear screen and keep your hydrophobic finish working through winter.

It comes in a bottle with a trigger head rather than an aerosol. Aerosols lose pressure in the cold and splutter when you need them most; a trigger works the same at minus 10 as it does indoors, puts product only where you aim it and wastes none.

Use it as a pre-icer too: mist it over the glass the evening before a frost to stop heavy ice building up, for less scraping and less risk of scratching glass or coating.

Directions:

1. Remove the cap and fit the trigger head to the bottle.
2. Spray liberally onto the iced surface and wait for the ice to melt.
3. Thicker ice may take longer. Wait 1 minute and reapply if needed.

Locks and handles: aim the spray into lock and handle recesses so it reaches the working mechanism.

Tip: start the car and put the heaters on full before you begin, so the cabin warms while you clear the screen.
