Product Description
The Tokya OP5 Lite is a dual action polisher offering excellent value for money. Thanks to its safe operating principle, it is ideal for beginners while still providing enough power and features for more advanced detailing enthusiasts.
The machine is compatible with the most common 5-inch polishing pads, and together with its 9 mm orbit and wide 2000–6500 opm speed range, it is highly versatile. It can efficiently handle both large surfaces and more precise polishing areas. The free-spinning dual action movement ensures a safe polishing experience and greatly reduces the risk of paint damage compared to rotary polishers.
Compared to traditional 6 mm orbit machines, the larger 9 mm orbit allows faster polishing on larger surfaces. In addition to polishing, the OP5 Lite is also excellent for applying waxes and paint protection products.
The included 125 mm backing plate is suitable for standard 5" polishing pads, making it easy to work on large areas such as hoods and roofs, as well as smaller sections like doors and bumpers. The lightweight design and rubber-coated ergonomic grip areas ensure comfortable use even during extended polishing sessions.
Like professional-grade machines, the OP5 Lite features a Soft Start function, allowing smooth and controlled startup. The speed can be adjusted using the easy-to-use rotary dial located at the rear of the machine.
The OP5 Lite is not a forced rotation machine, meaning the pad rotation will stop if excessive pressure is applied against the surface. This helps prevent overheating or burning through the paint. Additionally, the machine includes load-balancing electronics with constant speed control to maintain stable performance under load.
