Carbon Collective HEX Microfibre Polishing Pads 5 inch (125mm)

Our first microfibre pads, and the result of years of development into a complete Microfibre Polishing System. Having tested what was already available and never being satisfied with the results, we specified our own instead: every pad was given a deliberate thickness, its own foam interface layer, a set microfibre length and a chosen GSM, so the level of cut, polish or finish lands exactly where intended.

Microfibre behaves differently to foam. It cleans the surface more thoroughly, cuts harder and resists heat better, which makes these pads a strong choice for older, harder and heavily oxidised paint where foam struggles. They run happily on both rotary and dual action machines.

The numbering system keeps selection simple:

Compound 1 (green, 15mm) - heavy cut: strips oxidation, tidies up after wet sanding and revives older paint.
Polishing 2 (yellow, 13mm) - heavy polishing: deep scratches, holograms and buffer trails.
Refining 3 (orange, 15mm) - refines, or lays down glazes and sealants; clears swirls and finer scratches on ultra-soft paint while lifting gloss and clarity.
