Autodude's quick guide

Preparation:
Clean the housings by washing them thoroughly and, after washing, dry them well. Tape the edges of the housings using the protective tape provided.

Sanding:
Attach the foot to a drill or polishing machine using the adapter
Start by using P800 sanding paper on the oxidized or scratched housing. Wet the sanding paper and the surface of the housing with water (it is recommended to soak the sanding paper in water for approx. 5 min before use). Sand evenly, alternating vertical and horizontal movements and make sure that the surface to be treated remains wet at all times. If you are using a drill, use a low speed and monitor the surface temperature of the shell.
Switch to finer sandpaper in the following order: P1200, P2000 and P2500, and use the same sanding technique.

Polishing:
Clean the shell thoroughly first with water and then with a finishing cleaner after drying.
Change to a wool pad and apply a small amount of polishing paste to the pad. Spread the polishing paste evenly over the headlight with the pad.
Sand the shells with slow, even movements and use a low speed
Switch to a foam pad for finishing. Add a small amount of polishing paste and repeat the polishing step until the shell surface is smooth, scratch-free and has a finished appearance.

Coating:
Clean the surface thoroughly with a finishing cleaner. The surface must be completely dry and clean before applying the coating. Allow the finish cleaner to evaporate for at least 30 minutes before applying the coating.
Apply 5-10 drops of coating to a microfiber cloth and apply evenly to the headlight surface using light pressure in a crisscross motion.
Allow the coating to dry for 3-5 minutes and wipe off any excess coating. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours before exposing to water.
